  the circuit overseer, henry judson, came up to me during the circuit assembly.

  "brother miller, it's been reported that your family may have a pumpkin in your window.

  " he waited for an answer although he never asked a question.

  I'm amazed, Sparky1, that someone on this forum remembers him and is contemporary with me. I will turn 78 next week and still remember that year of 1956 well. We had that circuit assembly in New Bedford in the fall of that year. During that same year we had a visit of "celebrities" from Bethel, giving us a weekend's worth of special talks. Included in attendance was Fred Franz (on the left) engaged with a smiling Henry Hudson.

  
  

  Hudson was living near either Taunton or Brockton. He had a daughter, Shirley, who attended our New Bedford congregation, which was on the third floor of the Lumiansky Insurance building. That's where the above photo was taken by this 15 year old (me) with a cheapo Kodak camera I'd gotten for Christmas two years earlier (when we celebrated holidays).

  It so happens that we now have a wonderful internet which provided some details of Shirley and her father. See capture below. Apparently, she and husband lived across the Acushnet River from New Bedford in Fairhaven. Len Miller.

  i always wondered, how come the apostles never asked jesus what heaven is like compare to earth.

  and wouldn't they be bugging jesus to tell them all kind of stories of such?.

  Have you heard anything back from them yet?

  Indirectly, yes. Fortunately, another son, never baptized was told by G*** that he scanned the letter. That's about it. I know both of them received it.

  Yes, DOC, I am now close to 78 and naively waited this long to put this to rest. Perhaps the letter will help someone else since it is now posted online.

  To those who haven't read it it's actually an exposé of the 1975 debacle and how it paralleled the 1925 fiasco exactly 50 years prior. It reveals several WT lies and coverups as they tried to alibi their way out of both muddles. Some of us put our tails between our legs and accepted the blame for these teachings as they attempted to shift it onto our shoulders. Some of us, myself included, refused to accept a blame that has always been that of Watchtower's governing body.

  Now, with so many available, state-of-the-art office spaces as a result of the Watchtower sales, the DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights neighborhoods have become a destination for tech companies in the Big Apple. Leading the way was the popular online craft marketplace Etsy, which moved into the Watchtower building at 117 Adams Street in DUMBO in 2016.

  Etsy’s new office is one of the crown jewels of the Watchtower redevelopments and has been a standard for environmentally and employee-friendly office spaces.   i just happened to catch dr. phil today and i realize it's a replay from months perhaps years ago i don't know but that title is exactly what he said with reference to watchtower governing body.

  " if i go somewhere and my wife and family aren't welcome, then i'm not welcome.

  somebody tells me that i am to shun my wife and children?
